Well, some of you knew I was waiting on a call from a Blaze editor. She had read my partial and was really interested but wanted a few changes. Well, I talked to her for like an hour! Loved her. Best of all, I liked what she said. I'd had lots of feedback on this proposal and really lost my voice writing it. I'd felt everyone else's ideas had taken over. I'd actually dreaded finishing this book. Well the changes the editor wanted are the things I wanted. The things I cut! I was so relieved. It feels like my book again! I learned to trust my voice. To let me the writer be strong and confident. It was just that I wrote this proposal when I had gotten several blows and close calls and I was doubting myself badly. So I feel soo much better. I am on the proposal and excited!
